Dear Radioman KC,

In the beginning. If you are Catholic you know that this is code for long. In the beginning I was introduced to blogging by a good friend ( Gone Mild ). From his blog I found XO & Greg Beck. After months of commenting on those blogs anonymously I decided that it was only fair to them that I create an identity (anonymous one) so that they would know it was the same person. Since I had the identity created I might as well start my own blog where I could rant & write about what ever I wanted. That's what your own blog is for. It's for you. I don't care to be like Tony or anyone else. As I don't go to Fox Fake News I don't go either to Tony's. He can put what ever he wants on his blog. Good for him. I don't make any money from this & don't plan to. I don't want to be a news person. I blog what & when I want.

I created this blog to store a list of blogs in the Kansas City area. Which as far as I know there wasn't one back then. As people asked me I've included their blog here. If anyone knows of any send them to me to include. I will include everybody. Unless they piss me off. It's only happened once so far. I'm pretty easy going, really.

I had no intention of opening this up for anything more than the list & announce gatherings, Happy Hours, whatever. I would be willing to post an introduction to a blog. If bloggers emailed me something describing them & their blog I would be willing to post that. But you can "piss and moan. Coin ideas. Lament, Stroke and diss each other." on your own blogs. If you are "working less on my blog as on my website" you don't have time to post on mine.

Regarding the monthly meetings. Did you ever come to one? I will confess that I have become lax in scheduling them/announcing them enough in advance. One of the problems is they were so big that it was hard to find a good place. So we moved it around trying to be fair to bloggers all over the KC area. Changing days because some could come on this day but not that one. I will tell you it's like herding cats. Mind you I do love these cats! And that is the thing, many of us have become good friends. I would even say the kind that will be life long friends. Many of us see each other at other times than a monthly meeting. We have each others phone numbers, addresses, keys & codes to their houses. I'm grateful for these friendships.

I work a full time job, I'm on two boards, and do weekly volunteering. I have two FB accounts, one Twitter account, multiple emails. I'm married (+25 years), own a home with 4 acres & a cat & 2 LARGE dogs. I'm 54 years old. I'm tired. So if I don't schedule a Happy Hour please forgive me but Life happens. And cooking? Well, I've done all the cooking I need, now I'm simmering.

July Blogger/Tweeter Gathering

My bad! I was so busy with getting ready for & going on our vacation that I didn't schedule one. BTW, Canada was great! But we are glad to be home with our big dogs, and cats. I will be scheduling the July one very soon.

Tickets are $50 and include the improv show and a cast party with decadent desserts, champagne and a Roasterie coffee bar. When I say decadent, I mean ridiculously tasty off the diet and forget about Lent amazing. We're talking Christopher Elbow, Andre's, Panache, the list goes on.

There's also going to be a raffle for two tickets to SNL. These tickets are totally choice and hard to come by. Raffle tickets are $20/1 or $100/6. You don't have to be present to win!

With support from this event, Gilda’s Club Kansas City hopes to open their doors as soon as possible. More than 60,000 people in the KC metro area living with cancer and nearly every person in the metro area is affected. Gilda’s Club Kansas City will provide free support and networking groups, lectures, workshops and social events in a homelike setting for anyone touched by cancer, including children.

Recap of the blogger gathering at the KC Wizards Opening game. We started of with 5 of us meeting for Waldo Pizza. Then we headed out & parked at Nebraska Furniture & hopped on the school bus to the stadium. No, not the "little bus". Even though it was a tight squeeze for the taller people. A very quick ride! Barely had time to twitter! Five of us who carpooled together hit the gate at the same time:

Before the game started I went to visit with the Toronto teams' fans. I said a big "Bonjour Salut la visit" . I welcomed them to the Midwest, told them where in Canada I was from ( 4 hours north of Toronto). Then told them to have a good time & that they could drink us all under the table anyway.

Our fav librarian had problems with her print out of her ticket & had to go to a different line. It took forever!!!! It seems the computer crashed during the process. Needless to say we were happy to see her once she was able to join us. Soon afterwards we were joined by two more bloggers & their dates.

@vivid13 & girlfriend @painfulblue (Tweeters) were out too but sat elsewhere. I wished they had joined all of us. Since we were having so much fun.

OMG! Did we have a good time. The KC Wizards dragon tried to eat Feisty's head. My hubby made some comment about her getting head. Later during the game someone said something about a player & "bad head". Gringa said she's never heard that before! Then El Mexican was passing his nuts around. Loved his nuts! LOL! Hubby & Eric hit it off once they found out that they both are Firefly fans. That took a whole aaa maybe a minute for them to bond. Poor Feisty was having to duck between the two browncoats. The game was close. But Canada ruled the game. We decided not to wait for the shuttle bus & walked to the car. Even that was fun as we were all talking. Sorry if you missed it. We had a great time!

I'm done waiting on BlogRolling to get their act together. I haven't been able to add any new blogs for a bit now. I'm going to use Blogger's blog rolling tool. Keep in mind that I have to copy & past each one individually. I'm in the Bs right now. I'll keep you posted. Please email any blogs that are not on the list. The only stipulation is that they are in the Kansas City area. If anyone in Lawrence, the areas surrounding Kansas City..., wants to be included. I will included them. If there are KC people that are now living away from here I may have a special blogroll for them. Let me know.
